Tammy is a proud HBCU graduate, holding bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Grambling State University, a master's degree in Business Administration from Tulane University, and a PhD in Public Policy and Social Change with a MLK Legacy specialization from Union Institute and University.

Beyond her academic achievements, Tammy finds joy in spending quality time with her family and friends, worshipping God, immersing herself in books, and giving back through volunteer work. She's a dedicated servant in her church, her sorority (Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc) and the HBCU community, guided by her life motto: 'To whom much is given, much is required.' Tammy's purpose-driven life is all about making a positive impact.
